What to Expect Each Week
Week 1: Getting to Know Each Other

Grab your snacks, find a cozy spot, and settle in. This week is all about connection—getting to know each other and laying the groundwork for the next five weeks.
Week 2: What Even is “Branding”?
📅 Date: March 13, 2025
Is branding just a logo? Is it the colors we use? Is it manipulative? We’ll unpack all these questions together to get a clearer idea of what we’re really doing here.
Week 3: Getting to Know Your Brand
📅 Date: March 20, 2025
You and your brand may feel like siblings—similar, but not the same. This week, we’ll use an adapted version of Kapferer’s Identity Prism to explore your brand’s personality, values, and vibe, setting boundaries between the personal and professional.
Week 4: Colors, Fonts, and Accessibility
📅 Date: March 27, 2025
Colors and fonts tell a story, but they also need to work for everyone. This week, you’ll learn how to craft a visual language that reflects your brand’s vibe without leaving accessibility behind.
Week 5: Craft Your Website-First Brand Identity
📅 Date: April 3, 2025
Using a one-page visual website template (designed by yours truly) in Canva, you’ll play with your colors and fonts to create a brand identity that’s website-ready and authentically you. So, even if you already have a website, you can still play around without making any public changes (yet).
Pricing and Community Contribution Model
This workshop is rooted in accessibility and care, and I’ve structured pricing to reflect that:
Community Tier: Fully funded by the Community Contribution Fund (CCF). Up to 5 spots are available for those who may not have the financial means to attend.
Sustainer Tier ($275): Covers your participation and contributes 15% to the CCF to support others.
Supporter Tier ($475): For those who want to uplift others. Along with covering your participation, 15% of your payment goes to the CCF to make space for more participants.
Sponsor Tier ($600): Fully funds a Community Tier participant while covering your spot.
This model is an experiment in community care. It’s about creating a space where everyone—regardless of their financial situation—feels they have a place to learn, grow, and connect. Your choice of tier directly supports this vision, ensuring we’re building something meaningful together. To amplify the impact, I’ll match 10% of all contributions to the CCF.

Yes, all the sessions will be recorded and saved to our shared drive and shared only amongst the people who have registered.

Nope, not at all. For the most part, we'll use pen and paper. Aside from that, we'll use a free design platform called Canva, which you may be familiar with already - YAY! This software is free but you are welcome to upgrade to the paid version if you'd like.

You do not need all that to get started in this incubator. This brand incubator is different than other branding workshops because it focuses on the creative process to help you get out of indecision and overwhelm that can often creep in when designing a brand.
