Private Practice Website: Pear Tree Wellness

Introducing Pear Tree Wellness. A private practice website whose unique approach lies in weaving together diverse modalities as well as specialized approaches to create tailored and effective therapeutic experiences. After looking a several website design for therapists, we quickly realized that a lot of them felt either clinical or too personal. And for a psychologist, with a code of ethics to abide to, I must say I think this is one of the best Squarespace therapist website out there that combined Dr. Simone’s warmth with her decades of experience in a clinical setting.

By combining a warm and cool color story, we create a color palette where the visual identity combines Dr Simone’s emphasis on professionalism while still prioritizing warmth in every session.

By understanding the hopeful nature of the relationship that Dr. Simone has with her clients in every session, I was able to convey the brand’s approach of uplifting the client’s wellbeing by choosing a typeface that has an upward stroke.

In the logo, I intentionally kept the word mark simple without any changes. But spent more time to create the icon by combining the various negative spaces within the font to create not use the icon logo, but also when the elements of the logo are used separately, they served as brand elements for the rest of the site.
